It was the simple life on the farm that inspired the affection for every detail and gaverise to a women’s fashion brand with a handmade essence, made genuinely andessentially by women in the middleof Engenho Pangauá, a property with 1,500 hectares of sugarcane in the countryside of Brazil.

Female hands that dedicated themselves only to household chores came together tomaterialize a great dream with courage and determination, bringing countless advancesto the region. For 40 years our beautiful story have been seeking to transform the livesof brazilian women who started to work with fabrics, threads, buttons and preciousembroidery, making wonderful pieces of clothing.
Grandmothers, mothers and granddaughters. We are 3 generations building this story. There are many of us, we are Strong, we are one big Family, we are Marie Mercié.
